About Randy

Randy Picture

Randy Lofgren is a computer programming student in the UNC-Charlotte Coding Bootcamp Course. His goal after completing the course is to become a Junior Dev member on a development team and gain real world work experience.
He is looking for a new career in an industry that is more interesting to him and easier on his body than his previous career as a Tennis Professional.

He has experience using HTML CSS JS and Jquery and is very interested to get into databases and servers due to his extensive hobby of creating very function heavy google spreadsheets.

Platform Picture

He is orginally from Cincinnati, OH and now lives in Charlotte, NC with his wife Alyce, daughter Julia, two cats, Monty and Katniss, and dog Luna. His hobbies include playing Platform Tennis, Hiking, and Grilling!

He is currently the Chair of the APTA Men's Players Committee and Chair of the APTA Super Tournament Committee. These positions involve an enourmous amount of communication, organization, leadership, and customer/member feedback interactions.
